The U.S. military captured a man said to be one of the masterminds of the 2012 attacks on a diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya. That attack killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador. The U.S. had filed criminal charges against Ahmed Abu Khattala last year. Now that he has been taken into custody, he is expected to be sent to the United States to stand trial.
